Campsites Impacted by Pagami Creek Fire
The USFS released a list of the entry points and campsites impacted by the Pagami Creek Fire last August-October. Here are comments taken from Tim Dabney, Acting Forest Supervisor, letter to Outfitters.

Weather & Increased Fire Activity Prompts more Closures
Ely, MN…Near record high temperatures and dry, windy conditions are forecasted for the Pagami Creek Fire area through the end of the week.
Fire activity has the potential to increase as a result of this forecast. The Superior National Forest has expanded closures for areas adjacent to the Pagami Creek Fire as a precautionary measure to provide for public safety.
The following area/road closures are effective as of 12:00 PM (Noon) Tuesday, October 04, 2011:

BWCAW fire Update - Sept 17, 2011
TODAY’S MESSAGE: The incident commander announced Friday evening that the fire is 8% contained. Also, fire managers were able to more accurately map the fire’s perimeter on Friday and decreased the acreage from an estimated 100,000 acres to a more precise 93,472 acres.
Minnesota’s Governor Dayton, Senators Klobuchar and Franken, and Representative Cravaak toured the fire area on Friday morning.
